In Jamestown, you will be able to watch a real archeologist digging the site of the 1607 fort. You will stroll around the Jamestown settlement and walk among the ruins of the original buildings within the town. Even the original church tower of the 17th century is there to see!

There are characters that are dressed like people would look like from the past that roam around Jamestown. You will  have the chance to talk to costumed glass-blowers at the Glasshouse. Your kids will feel like they are walking through history.

In the settlement, there are replicas of the three ships that brought the 1607 settlers. Re-creations of the fort that early people  built is also there to see as well as the Powhatan village. There are some costumed interpreters that bring history to life in the huge outdoor areas of the Jamestown Settlement.
